Young Shots 2018
Cambridgeshire CPSA, in conjunction with Cambridge Gun Club, are delighted to announce their new Young Shots Programme. This new programme is designed for youngsters, with a keen interest in shooting (but maybe lacking experience), to gain training and experience across a number of disciplines. The idea is to provide support, mentoring and tuition to increase the number of youngsters entering our sport, and shooting for Cambridgeshire ….. and maybe even go as far as intercounty or national competitions. Who knows maybe we’re already looking at our future Commonwealth Games or Olympic champions!

The first intake for February 2018 are (from L>R) Henry Sperring, Sam Halls, Daniel Wareing, Oscar Jarvis, Alice Wareing, Ethan Lord and Finlay Watson. [Photo provided by Cambridge GC with parental consent]
Good luck to you all and we’re looking forward to hearing about your progress and achievements in the future.
East Midlands AGM
At the recent East Midlands AGM Chris Morris was awarded the Supreme Champion title for an incredible 6th year. Well done Chris!

Michele Conway won a very well deserved lifetime award for her service to the sport. She has shot and won at County, regional and national level competitions. She has also been heavily involved with the CPSA over the years, having held the position of Cambs CPSA Chair on numerous occasions as well as regional and national posts.

Last, but not least, Allan Wright collected the Directors Trophy for Cambridgeshire.

New Committee for 2018
Thank you to all our members who took the time to attend the Cambridgeshire CPSA AGM. Some new faces and some old. A huge thank you to all the committee members for offering their time to (amongst other things) schedule competitions and organise trophies, and badges. Details of your new committee, including contact details, can be found here.
