We would ask you to be there at 19:00 for 19:30 start.
This is subject to change within the current COVID situation.
We will be doing a trophy presentation to all championship overall winners and supreme champions.
We would also be voting in a new committee and if you feel you would like to be part of how the County is run for shooters please put yourself forward!
7th Nov 2021: Today was the Cambridgeshire Skeet Doubles Championship at Eriswell Lodge shooting ground.
Another well run shoot and we would like to thank all the staff and the referees for today.
The wind, cold and lack of sun in the afternoon made the targets quite a challenge. The master of skeet, Peter Cook is this year’s Skeet Doubles Champion with 85. Close behind was the Veterans Winner – Roger Fletcher 83 and Senior Mens was Phil Barnard 83.
Winner of the Rabbit Skeet Pool Shoot was Marcus Lord with 23/25 Joint Second was Corbie Barnard and S Page on 21/25.
This was our last Cambridgeshire shoot for 2021 and we will be working to get dates for next years shoots as soon as possible.

Also many thanks to Albert Taylor, James Yarrow, Gary Thatcher and Bob Eagle for competing for the Seniors Team with myself and all shot very well but were unlucky to not take the title this year. It was very difficult this year to even muster the two teams and many many thanks to those above for making the effort to travel to Bisley and shoot for the County, you guys all deserve a medal as far as I am concerned.

Today (Sunday 22nd August), Cambs were at The Priory for the Double Rise. Most shot theirs this morning before ‘shooting’ across to Northampton. Last squad was at 1pm. Weather was quite dreary. Overcast for the most part, not too windy. The Priory did a fab job of catering for our shoot as well as holding a skeet competition.
The results are as follows:
Champion
Richard Croft
A terrific 85
Veterans’
Tim Jones
68
Men’s
Phil Barnard
77
Ladies’
Hazel Lilly
58
Colts’
Ethan Lord
48
Congratulations to our winners and a big thanks to those who took the time to shoot. Our massive thanks to Natasha at The Priory, for holding the competition.
It’s obviously AGM season… Here’s a note from Colin Butler regarding the East Midlands one:
I am pleased to say that we have booked the Bell Inn at Stilton for the East Midlands CPSA AGM.
The date for your diaries is Monday 13th September 2021.
Janet has indicated she would like a pre-meeting starting at 7pm and then a welcome buffet from 7-30pm, with the AGM starting at 8pm, I hope you can make the early kick off.
As always can I have the names of your elected county representatives before that date, and can I ask if you cannot attend that you send a substitute attendee, although we don’t envisage the AGM will go on for long with no presentations this year.
Ian Parker and Clare Alger from HQ has been invited to attend.
Janet also informs me that the costs at the Bell Inn have risen significantly, so it may well be time to once again move our business elsewhere, so if you have a venue in mind and think we should investigate the possibilities please let myself or Janet know, obviously it must be as central as possible.
I would be grateful if you share details of the AGM date on your websites and Facebook pages.
