Cambs ZZ Rugby and District 25th November 2018
The Cambs ZZ was run in conjunction with the EM. It always seems to be held a bit late in the year as it was this time, the problem with that is not having time for shoot offs and that was what happened in 2018. But never the less, our top man was Kevin Flitton taking the Cambs title as he did last year. He was also joint High gun for the EM. Our top Lady was Jane Bell who took both Cambs and EM – well done folks. Thanks to Rugby & District for holding the event – much appreciated.

Cambs Double Rise – 20/ 21st October 2018 – Cambridge GC
Well folks here is one more and getting near the end of the year but never the less just as exciting for me to watch. This held on two layouts and was a shared affair with our neighbours Suffolk and Norfolk, both of them also holding their County Championships as well. The day was busy with pool shoots on the ABT / SB / and DTL going on, so plenty to add to the excitement during the two days. So in fact a mega weekend for the trap shooter. Our top Shot and now county Champion was Paul Ward who shot a magnificent 79. He turned the tables on Phil Barnard after the ABT as it was Philip who just missed out today to Paul. The Vets went to Richard Croft, the ladies to Michele Conway and once again the Colts to Ethan Lord. Well shot folks and many thanks to CGC for their hospitality once again.
