Clay Target Shooting in Cambridgeshire
On Sunday 31 August the Cambridgeshire Skeet Doubles Championship took place at Priory. A strong breeze made for challenging targets. Congratulations to Championship winner Adam Hallybone, Men’s winner Gavin Dunbavin and to Veterans’ winner John Russell.
Thank you to Natasha, Aaron, John and team for hosting and running an enjoyable and successful shoot and to all the referees. Thank you also to the shooters who supported this event.

30th August 2025, Rugby & District Trap Club
The Helice was being held once again at Rugby who have had a stressful year with a good few problems but we stuck with it and finally got a date to hold our county championship. Not a high entry and beset with a good bit of wind and a few trap problems but managed to complete the day.

24th August, Priory
Well we had a really nice day at priory for the Cambs single barrel today: no wind and really quite hot, so perfect for good targets and scores. The first squad brought in good scores around the mid 80s then Tim Jones for Cambs came in with a 92 to set the pace and raise the bar a little. He was unbeaten for Cambs until the last squad, with Chris Hall bringing in a wonderful 97 to take the championship in superb fashion.
