The 2025 Cambridgeshire English Sporting Championship was held at Chalk Farm on Saturday 7 June. On a day that had threatened torrential rain and thunderstorms, apart from a couple of short downpours the day stayed dry if a little breezy. Adam had set up an interesting and varied selection of stands with a few especially challenging targets but the course was appreciated and enjoyed by those taking part.
Congratulations to Championship winner (on countback) – Matt Bedford (84) who also won AA class;
Men’s and Veterans’ – Brian Dunbavin (84);
Ladies – Jane Bell (68);
Junior – Harry Dickins (83 – only one away from overall champion);
Colts – Sam Vella (69);
A Class – Peter Simpson (83 – also one away) ;
B Class – Peter Garrod (80);
C Class – Philip Simpson (57).
