Cambridgeshire Universal Trench Championship 2010

The 2010 County UT Championship was held at the same time as the East Midlands, on 24th October at Nuthampstead. Brisk autumnal weather had everyone reaching for the extra coats, but the light was excellent. Of the 22 entries, 9 were Cambridgeshire; a small turnout, but at least with only 4 squads things progressed rapidly. James "not just OT" Sole demonstrated his mastery of orange things going away by putting in a fine 91 to take both county and regional titles. A mere 3 clays behind was Belinda York, retaining her Ladies County title and gaining the East Midlands' Ladies to boot. George Waller, finishing with an impressive 24 for a total of 79 took Junior High Gun (County and EM). John Barnard took the Veterans' title when the defending Nick Evans declined a shoot-off, and they shared East Midlands' Vets' Bronze medal.
