Sunday 25th July The Cambridgeshire Members once again traveled to Northampton Shooting Ground. Despite the road from the A14 being blocked most members managed to get there many taking the scenic route,

The day was hot and with the wind expected with Airfields this made the
targets interesting.

The first squad started well enough with Tim Jones and Chris Morris about level after the first 50 with a 22 and a 24 each John Barnard was one target behind as was Phil Barnard.

On the following 50 things changed with Chris Morris shooting Straight to finish with 96 Tim Jones lost 4 in the last round as the wind got up and he finished with 91.

The next squad which had 3 members fresh from Grange Farm 100 sporting dropped in to have ago the result was that Brian Dunbavin shot a 90 to take the Vets' title the same score he shot at Grange Farm.

Sadly, no ladies, colts or juniors entered.
