Cambridgeshire Individual ABT Championship – Nuthampstead Shooting Ground 27th June 2010
June 27th saw absolutely perfect conditions at Nuthampstead; brilliant sunshine and only a light breeze, giving targets that were easy to see and in theory easy to hit. Pete Waller avoided all distractions and with increasing consistency from layout to layout took the title with a cracking 95 - not bad for C class, although he was possibly spurred on by the opportunity to not be beaten by his son, for a change... George took the Juniors' a mere 9 clays behind on 86, a score shared with the Vets' Champion John Barnard. Michele Conway, newly arrived in the Vets' category was 2 behind on 84, having to satisfy herself with the Ladies' title. Taylor Hedgecock added another Colts' High gun to his record on 63.
