A few members of the Cambs teams after the event:
David Christensen (Seniors'), Sarah Christensen (Ladies'),
Rod Gifford (Vets'),Pietro Mastroeni (Seniors')
Despite the sad lack of a second member for ladies' team, it was a fabulous day for Cambridgeshire at the FITASC intercounties with Seniors and Juniors both winning. Phil Gray also took the Junior Individual High Gun. Well done all! The shoot, shot over 5x20 parcours, had a good range of hittable targets, with only the parcours by the DTL layout causing cries of distress: a wide selection of high floaty tower birds with no easy reference points. The hittability of the targets was demonstrated by Ben Hustwhaites' incredible high gun score of 97 (although his team, Leicestershire, was still one clay behind Cambridgehire).
Pietro (team manager) persuaded the Cambridge Evening News to give us coverage here. The printed edition also carried the photo from this page.
