Michele Conway, ABT Team Manager, picked the following teams for the regional intercounties at Nottingham and District Gun Club on August 23rd. The scores show a marked improvement from recent years for the seniors, who on an average of 91.5 were only one target between them short of the 2nd place shoot-off (91.75), although we've still got our work cut out catching the winners Nottinghamshire who averaged an impressive 94.75 with their top four shooters. The Ladies' team failed to retain their title, their 78.5 average falling some way behind Suffolk's 88. The Veterans' team improved from last year's 79 average to 83.5 this year, but were sadly well behind Lincolnshire's 94 average. Unfortunately we had no Junior team this year, although junoir George Waller put in the second highest score on behalf of our senior team, a 92 [
