Cambridgeshire DTL Championship Cambridge Gun Club 19th & 20th April 2014
As promised the weather was a real sunny day for Saturday and dull for the Sunday but most of us seemed to stay dry for most of the time. The targets were set on Saturday morning at the bottom half of the hoop so the wind, if any, would not impact on the targets over both days. Good scores on Saturday were hard fought for, just one bad round was enough to take you out of the title race and some tried with well shot comebacks, but the high score on Saturday by D McLean 97/286 was not to be bettered, although some got very close.On Sunday, we had one young lad, J Dodd, all be it that he was from Norfolk, who on his first registered DTL shot 100/291 - a name to watch out for.
