A new Committee was elected for 2026 comprising T Jones (Chair), P Barnard (Vice-Chair), G Thatcher (Treasurer), J Jones (Secretary), L Carter-Gifford, A Taylor.

J Bell, A Oakey and K Flitton  stood down from the Committee and were thanked for their work over the last year.

Keepsake momentos were handed out – to those present at the AGM – to the 2025 Supreme Champions and Championship winners.

In recognition of his significant achievement of being Supreme Champion for 7 years running, P Barnard was presented with a special award of an engraved decanter and whisky glasses.

In view of the low turnout of Championship winners attending the AGM to collect their keepsake momentos for 2026 these will be handed out at the actual championship.  They will be engraved with the event and year.

At the AGM it was agreed to reduce the levy to £2 for the 15 Championships being held in 2026.

Holders of trophies from 2025 Championships are reminded to ensure that they take them back on the day of the shoot or arrange to hand them to a committee member before the Championship date if they will not be attending.

The Committee hope that members will support as many of the county championship shoots as possible and look forward to catching up with everyone throughout the year.

I hope that many of you will be able to come along to support the evening.  The keepsake trophies will be presented to the 2025 Championship winners and Supreme Champions. I  look forward to seeing you there.

We are looking for more people to join the Committee.  Please would anyone interested in joining the Committee put their name forward to the Chairman (Tim Jones) or Secretary (Jane Jones).  Nominations will also be taken at the AGM. Keepsake trophies will be presented to the 2024 Championship winners and Supreme Champions. I hope that many of you will be able to come along to support the evening and look forward to seeing you then

The 2024 AGM will take place on Tuesday 9 January 2024 at 7.30pm at Haddenham Sports and Social Club. (Haddenham Sports And Social Club – Google Maps)

The evening will include the presentation of keepsake trophies to the 2023 Championship winners and Supreme champions.

Those attending will be entered into a free raffle, with three prizes each of one entry fee (birds only) for a standard 2024 Cambs Championship shoot (ie excluding FITASC and Helice) of the winners’ choice.

The bar will be open throughout the evening.

We would ask you to be there at 19:00 for 19:30 start.

We will be doing a trophy presentation to all championship overall winners and supreme champions.

We would also be voting in a new committee and if you feel you would like to be part of how the County is run for shooters please put yourself forward!
