Cambridgeshire All Round Championship 2008

Held at Northampton Shooting Ground on 27th July 2008 and sponsored by Whittlesey Gun Shop

Whittlesey Gun Shop established in 1984 by Dave Shipman, has moved forward with the times to being one of the leading gun shops within the East Anglia region. He has a keen interest in wildfowling, pigeon shooting, deer stalking, gameshooting and clayshooting. Dave has also run a clay shoot at the Bassinally Pits in Whittlesey for the past 18 years with tuition and fun!! as well as helping to start a lot of people in their shooting career.

Glorious weather and decent targets led to some solid scores in the County Championship, although there were only 4 straights on the ESK, 2 on the single barrel, and none on the ABT or the eminently-straightable Sporting.

Congratulations to all the winners shown below: for those wondering about Brian Dunbavin being in A class: his average is 88, and the cut-off for AA is 88.1! Sadly there were no Lady or Junior entries. The usual suspects in the Ladies were at things like England Selection Shoots; who knows where the Juniors got to?
