Cambridgeshire Universal Trench Championship 2007

The 2007 County Championships got off to a challenging start in what can only be described as freak weather. The weather changed every 5 minutes it seemed, varying between near calm with bright sunshine, to 40knot winds and horizontal hail. Most shooters who shot both this year and last were about 10 hits lower this year...

Mick Burrows seemed unflustered by the weather and won the county title by an 8 point margin, whilst Michele Conway stamped her mark on her return to the county championships by taking four titles in one day: Ladies' and Veterans' titles at both County and East Midlands levels. George Waller took the County Junior title.
