Cambridgeshire ABT Championship 2007

Cambridgeshire Individual ABT Championship – Nuthampstead Shooting Ground – 20th May 2007

In marked contrast to the UT, the weather at Nuthampstead was pretty much perfect for the ABT championship. Fve Cambridgeshire shooters shot in the 80s, but all except one of them had a layout scoring in the teens that let them down. The exception was Pete Waller who took the title on 89 - coincidentally the same score that won the title in both 2006 and 2005 (although not for Pete on those occasions). Well done Pete!

As if one ABT title on the mantelpiece wasn't enough, George Waller also took the Junior title with 73. Jane Bell retained her Ladies' title with 76, while the perennial hard-fought Veteran's title was re-taken by Gordon Tate.

Congratulations and commiserations to Nick Evans who has now been 2nd in the ABT for three years in a row.
