The Single Barrel Championship was held at Northampton Shooting Ground on 29th March with near perfect weather and most people having noticed that the clocks had changed. Shot over 50 birds on the two north-facing layouts, 22 county shooters (up on last year, despite the current economic woes) battled it out, including a number of new faces.Chris Morris took the County Championship with 47, one ahead of Steve Grant. A Rippin took Veterans' Title, and S Rippin the Ladies'. Corbie Barnard took the Junior High Gun.
