Held at Lakenheath CTC on 23rd March 2008. Snow and a biting wind added to the challenge, although a 99 was shot on the day in the concurrent East Midlands SKD championship.
A tight bunching of scores at the top led to a rapid search for the rule book to determine the shoot-off procedure for Skeet Doubles, leading to Chris Morris taking the shoot-off by four clays from Veterans' Champion Alan Clarke. Janet Maguire retained her Ladies' title, and newcomer to the County Championships Matthew Pluck took the Juniors' title in his second ever registered shoot (and first SKD). One to watch, I think!
