Cambridgeshire English Skeet Championship 2008

The Cambridshire 2008 English Sporting Competition, sponsored by Camtech Photographic, was shot in very blustery wind giving very variable targets that kept everyone (in the remarkably small turnout) on their toes at Northampton Shooting Ground on June 29th.

Peter Cook regained his County Title with 99ex100 - making it all the way to high 6 on layout 4 before dropping his only target. Sarah Christensen took the Ladies' title and C Class on 88, Rod Gifford to the Veterans' and A class on 95. Chris Morris took AA with 96, and Phil Barnard B class with 95.

The Bev Waller trophy - for the highest overall score on the day, regardless of county - was won by Mick Rolstone with the only 100 straight of the day, which also happened to be his personal first 100 straight - well done Mick !
